28 Jun 09 - Just got home from dinner after the "Best Of" screenings for the Houston 48 HFP.  We accepted recognition for being in the top 13 films of 2009, and an awesome Honorable Mention for Best Directing.  And, then we started winning awards, and it was really, really an unbelievable thing ... 4thCollective accepted awards for the 'Audience Award - Screening Group B', 'Best Musical Score', 'Best Use of Line', 'Best Writing', and finally the kicker, 'Best Film of 2009'.  Wow ... just wow.

Really, truly humbling ... and if anyone from any other team is reading this ... y'all, we're honored to have competed with everyone, and everyone did some absolutely tremendous work.  Any of the judges, volunteers, and Laura, thanks so much for the recognition of this team's hard work and efforts.  Such a great feeling overall tonight.

The Awards are fantastic, but nothing tops an audience laughing at what we put up on the screen for this ...
